Ryan started learning about leadership as a young Boy in The Boys' Brigade (BB), where leaders are called to serve. Be it having leadership roles or not, he supports his teams and leaders with his relationship building nature. Ryan believes that a leader has to understand his people well to lead them, and a good leader supports others even when he is not in charge.

A sudden change of circumstances in 2018 led him to join The John Maxwell Team (now known as Maxwell Leadership Certified Team), founded by world-renowned leadership expert John C. Maxwell. It introduced him to the art of Coaching and its impact on drawing out individuals' potential. Ryan then felt a calling to develop others with what he learnt. In 2019, he took a leap of faith and switched career, influencing people's lives positively along the way.

Ryan's ability to listen attentively helps him to build rapport with clients quickly. A coach does not seek to provide answers. Instead, Ryan provides the environment for clients to search meaningful answers from within. As a Gallup-Certified Strengths Coach, he helps working professionals, entrepreneurs and youths in discovering their unique talents with CliftonStrengths. Through intentional conversations, they begin to see their situations in a different light and thus finding new ways to overcome their challenges.

Prior to this switch, Ryan has over 10 years of Logistics and Procurement experience in multinational companies such as LIXIL, Samsung, Geodis/IBM, Panasonic and DHL. He loves music, plays the guitar, and is happily married with one daughter.
